This one is a metre across, with the central hole being a 30cm by 18cm oval.

1. Put your face into the hole, with the top edge resting over your fore-head.

2. Tie a band round your forehead. Pull up the front edge of the veil until it lies in a straight line across your forehead. The side edges of the hole should lie neatly down the sides of your face.

3. Having follwed point 2 - you will end up with pouches of fabric sticking up from your head. Pull these flat from behind your ears, pulling the fabric down and back.

4. Gripping the bottom edge of the veil hole sides, pull these up past your ears, so that each side is even.

5. Tuck each 'point' or 'corner' into the band.

6. Pull the fabric that is now hanging down the front around to the back, and pin if necessary..
