Costume Display

   My costume display is not just a static exhibit of a costume. With each outfit, I provide an information booklet detailing exactly how I made the costume. This includes much historical and archeological evidence, where available and where it is not available, the reasoning behind my reconstruction. All my outfits are as accurate as it is possible to be, without visiting the time-period in question!
   I can display 1 male and/or 1 female outfit at a time, indoors only, on an abstract faced display model with arms. Each outfit is 'complete' and includes fabric garments, belts, shoes, head-wear and outer-wear.

Hiring a Display Thegn  At present the following costumes are available: 5th/6th Century Anglian or Saxon Family (rich & poor) Middle Saxon Family of the 7th-9th Century (rich & poor) Anglo-Saxon Family of the 10th/11th Century (rich & poor) 10th Century Anglo-Saxon Warrior 10th Century Viking Noblewoman 10th Century Anglo-Norse Warrior (he does have 2 legs!) Norman Noblewoman (1154-89) Lady of the Court of Edward III (14th Century) Lady Margaret de Walsoken (1349) and a 14th Century Nobleman Yorkist Lady of the Court of Edward IV (15th Century) 15th Century Couple Charges: £30 per costume per day (+ £200 damage deposit) * discounts available for block bookings * Mileage and Travel costs also apply. Costumes are transported and set up by 'Rosie and Glenn'.   Bookings taken 14 days in advance. On receipt of your request I will issue a proposal document which includes my terms and conditions for provision of Services.
